Solero Flamenco, established by Jeremy García and Irma La Paloma, is a performance company emphasizing Art, Education, and Culture. Solero’s mission is to create awareness of flamenco arts, engage communities of all origins, and offer innovative forms of expression. Solero Flamenco presents vibrant performances, immersive experiences, and educational workshops and master classes for all ages.
Irma and Jeremy established and directed the Houston Spanish and Flamenco Festival (2011-2016) with funding awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts and in collaboration with the Consulate General of Spain in Houston. They established the widely successful community outreach program “Flamenco for Kids and Teens” for students in grades K-12.
